LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) - The Allen County Fair has tons of events and activities planned for their 175th anniversary this year!
The fair runs from August 15-23 at the Allen County Fairgrounds at 2750 Harding Hwy. You can visit allencofair.com or their Facebook for more information.

Allen County Fair Hours
Gates
- The fair officially opens on Friday, August 15 at 4 PM at the Nutrien Plaza Stage
- Gates are open 7 AM - 11 PM every day of the fair
Rides
- All hours are weather permitting.
- 8/15: 5 PM - 11 PM
- 8/16-17: 12 PM - 11 PM
- 8/18: 2 PM - 11 PM
- 8/19: 3 PM - 10 PM
- 8/20-21: 5 PM - 10 PM
- 8/22: 5 PM - 11 PM
- 8/23: 12 PM - 11 PM

Special Promotion Days
Monday, August 18: Youth Day
- The fair has tons of activities for their youngest visitors including a Youth Fishing Derby, Petting Zoo, Youth Tractor Pull, and games at the plaza next to the grandstand for kids 12 years and under. There will also be a sign up to win a bicycle!
- $2 off gate admission from 7 AM to 6 PM
Tuesday, August 19: Sr. Citizens Day
- Fairgoers age 60 and above can get into the fair for free from 7 AM to 6 PM. There will also be the annual Golden Age Day Party at the Gospel Tent with music and refreshments.
Thursday, August 21: Sensory Day
- NEW this year, the fair has partnered with the Allen County Board of DD, Autism Life Center, and Special Friends of Northwest Ohio is offering sensory friendly games and rides throughout the day. There will be a resource fair at the Gospel Tent from 11 AM to 3 PM.
- Fairgoers can also bring in a canned good for $2 off gate admission from 7 AM - 6 PM, one can per person. All food collected will be donated to the West Ohio Food Bank.
Friday, August 22: Veterans Day
- All veterans will be admitted free until 6 PM. A veterans program will be held in the tent behind the Gospel Tent at noon followed by a lunch at 12:30 PM.
Ticket Prices
- Tickets can be purchased at the gates. Adult and Youth 7 years and older tickets are $10. Youth under 7 can get in for free.
- 2025 season passes at $45 for Ages 10 and up and $25 for Ages 7-9. Passes can be purchased at the ticket booth or at the fair office.

- All parking at the fairgrounds is free. Parking information can be found here.
Free Trolley Rides
- Free trolley transportation presented by Bob Evans Farms Manufacturing will be offered from the west parking lot to the Gate W entrance.
- 8/15: 5 PM - 10 PM

- 8/22: 5 PM - 10 PM

Lauren Daigle Concert
- Grammy Award, Billboard Music Award, American Music Award, and GMA Dove Award winner Lauren Daigle is the artist for this year's concert. Doors open at 6:30 PM and the concert begins at 8 PM. Tickets can be purchased online here. Concert tickets do not include gate admission. Tickets purchased online must be printed at home.
Sunday Celebration at the Grandstand
- There are several music acts coming to the grandstand on Sunday, August 17, including Mickey Dolenz of the Monkees, The Cyrkle, and Direct Energy. Track, Party Pit, and Grandstand seats are free, and there are limited Stage Front seats for $50 each. Those tickets can only be purchased online here.
Gospel Tent Performances
- All activities and concerts at the Gospel Tent are free with paid admission to the Allen County Fair. A full schedule of the nightly performances can be found here.
Allen County Fair Merchandise
- The Allen County Fair has 175th Anniversary merchandise for sale including shirts, hats, hoodies, and more. They can be purchased at the administration building. Limited copies of the 175th Anniversary documentary are also available for purchase.
Fair History MOOseum
- The fair has put together a collection of hundreds of artifacts and photos to take a look back at the last 175 years! Fairgoers can check out the museum under the grandstand.
Hometown Stations at the Fair
- We will be LIVE on our set next to the grandstand for our Noon, 5 PM, and 6 PM shows Monday - Thursday and noon on Friday, August 22nd. Come say hi and see how we put on our shows!
