LIMA, Ohio - Longtime Lima Exchange Club member Mike Mullen has received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Ohio/West Virgina District Board of Directors.
The award plaque was presented to Mike on Saturday evening, May 17, 2025 during a banquet at the annual 25-Club Ohio/West Virginia District Convention in Orrville, OH.
Mullen has been a member of the Lima Exchange Club for 43 years and is a five-time past president. He currently acts as Secretary of the club and oversees and coordinates virtually all club activities and projects during the year.
To receive this prestigious district honor, a person must have at least 25 years of active membership in Exchange and be nominated by his or her local club.
Mullen was nominated for this year’s award by current Lima Exchange Club president, Stephanie Moos and is only the second member in the 66-year history of the Lima club to receive the District Lifetime Achievement Award. The other Lima honoree was charter president Jack Somerville in 2011.
