LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) - One of Lima's most popular summer events is back and better than ever.

The "Curtain Call Summer Concert Series" returned for the sixth time this evening at the downtown amphitheater. Free to the public, the concert series hosted by the Civic Center Foundation and Rustgaze records, featured delicious food from Spring & Main and specialty cocktail drinks for local residents to enjoy while taking in the nice weather and musical talents of the Beer Barrel Boys.

Lima kicks off their Curtain Call Summer Concert Series featuring the Beer Barrel Boys

Free to the public, the concert series hosted by the Civic Center Foundation and Rustgaze records.

"I just love it. It's free to the community, so you can come and it's nice to have something to do after work. We have this beautiful park that everyone gets to utilize. We do this through the Civic Center Foundation, and we have sponsors like Spring & Main and the Ohio Arts Council and Wingate. If we didn't have them, we couldn't do this and bring this great free event to the community," told Carmen Cecala-Wells, Director of Development at the Civic Center Foundation.

The Curtain Call Series will be held every Wednesday from 5 to 7 pm at the Civic Center's Happy Daz Patio.
