LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — A Lima man is facing additional charges in connection with an October shooting that injured one person.
An Allen County Grand Jury has indicted Javeon Whisenton, 20, on aggravated robbery, felonious assault, and other shooting-related charges.
According to Lima Police detectives, Whisenton was identified as the suspect in the shooting of a 24-year-old man on Oct. 12 near the intersection of Wayne and North Collett streets.
Officers responded to reports of shots fired and found a man with gunshot wounds, who was taken to a hospital for treatment. Whisenton was arrested later that day.
He is currently being held in the Allen County Jail on a $250,000 bond.
