LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — A Lima man has been sentenced to more than 88 years in prison after being convicted of multiple sex crimes involving a child.
An Allen County jury found Ernesto Palos, 71, guilty of six counts of rape, five counts of gross sexual imposition and one count of illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material.
Palos was arrested in 2025 after authorities said he had sexual contact with a girl who was under 13-years-old.
His trial lasted three days. In addition to the prison sentence, Palos was classified as a Tier III sex offender.
