LIMA, OH (WLIO) -Â A Lima man has been sentenced to six years in prison for complicity to attempted murder.
27-year-old Daniel Elliott was found guilty by an Allen County jury of assisting in an attempt to kill Gloria Triana, the mother of his cousin’s children.
In 2024, Elliott’s aunt, Sonya Elliott, and cousin, Charleston Elliott, attempted to force Triana to drink a mixture of household chemicals. Prosecutors said they believed she was an unfit mother to her children.

Elliott will serve a minimum sentence of six years in prison, with a potential maximum of nine years, depending on his conduct while incarcerated.
