LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — “Something for everyone” was the message delivered at the Lima Rotary Club as Lima City Schools Superintendent Andre Rudolph highlighted what the district has to offer students and families.

Rudolph has completed his first semester leading the district and said he has been impressed with the breadth of academic opportunities available, ranging from college preparatory coursework to career-technical education programs and everything in between.

One of Rudolph’s first priorities as superintendent was building strong relationships within the community. To help achieve that goal, he launched “Afternoons with Andre,” an initiative designed to connect directly with parents and community members. He has also made it a point to attend and support many district events and activities.

"Getting out, being visible, being accessible, and then truly learning what I believe the community expects of me and what I can expect from our community, and that is a timeless piece that can't put a value on," Rudolph stated. "The best thing to do is just continue to build that trust and relationship within the community."
