SHAWNEE TOWNSHIP, Ohio – The Shawnee Township Trustees are doubling down on transparency by introducing ShawneeFacts.com.
The website identifies and corrects false information that has been introduced.
“We understand that residents see and hear a lot of rumors,” Trustee Joe Recker said. “Residents deserve transparency, so that’s what we’re serving up with ShawneeFacts.com.”
“With the independent investigation still ongoing, we’re getting a lot of questions about when we’ll have updates to share,” Recker said. “We want to remind folks that conducting an independent investigation is a very standard agency practice to ensure maximum accountability and transparency. We will share updates once the investigation is complete.”
Social media comment sections are not the best place to find concrete information. Residents should read ShawneeFacts.com as the first stop if they have questions. We’ll work to update it regularly as new information or questions develop.
