Media Release from Mercy Health - St. Rita's Medical Center
In order to protect our community members, our patients and staff, Mercy Health – St. Rita’s Medical Center began restricting patient visitation, effective Wednesday, February 12. At this time, children under the age of 14 are restricted from visiting patients (with the exception of those visiting our labor and delivery or mother infant units). We also advise that visitors should not visit patients if they have recently experienced high-risk exposure to someone with a respiratory illness or if they currently have signs and symptoms such as fever, cough, and sore throat. We look forward to welcoming child visits with patients again following this outbreak.
