LIMA, Ohio - Visit Greater Lima is excited to announce the 2025 Destination Development Grant recipients. The purpose of Visit Greater Lima’s Destination Development Grant Program is to assist qualifying non-profit organizations and tourism entities in enhancing and increasing tourism in Allen County, Ohio.
“Visit Greater Lima is committed to driving economic growth by promoting and growing tourism. We believe that supporting our local attractions and non-profit organizations enriches the entire community—creating an inviting destination for visitors and businesses alike,” stated Betsy Billingsley, Executive Director of Visit Greater Lima.
Eleven grants for projects that range from marketing to landscaping to signage were awarded to recipients including Downtown Lima, Inc., Encore Theater, Allen County Master Gardener’s Children’s Garden, Lima Sister Cities, Lima/Allen County VMCCC Foundation, Swiss Community Historical Society, Lima Area Concert Band, Lima Locos, the City of Lima’s Parks and Recreation Department, Lima Symphony Orchestra, and ArtSpace/Lima.
Grant recipient and ArtSpace/Lima Director, Sally Windle commented, “ArtSpace/Lima is deeply grateful for the steadfast support and shared belief in the power of the arts to inspire and draw people to our community. Our ability to reach audiences across all corners of the region would not be possible without the visionary leadership and ongoing partnership of Visit Greater Lima. Their commitment has amplified our mission and extended the reach of creativity in truly meaningful ways.”
