LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) – A powerhouse of women gathered Wednesday to share their experiences of becoming prominent business leaders in Lima Allen County.
The four-woman panel at this quarter’s “Women in Business” event featured three business owners and a local hospital executive, offering insights on achieving a successful career. Panelists included Bev Beery, Lynn Carpenter, Tracie Sanchez, and Krista Schrader, each sharing their journey of making a mark in a traditionally male-dominated world.
Krista Schrader, owner and broker of Schrader Realty, emphasized the importance of strength and compassion for women entering the business world.
"I think any woman, any young female, that would want to get into the business world, I think they need to be strong yet have compassion. They need to have confidence. I think some of us try to, you know, back down from a challenge. And I think we are all inner strength, and we just need to, like, embrace each other and be compassionate, but yet strong," Schrader said.
