Arlington man killed in a single-vehicle crash on Sunday

HARDIN COUNTY, OH (WLIO) - An Arlington teen was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Hardin County on Sunday.

Just after noon, Hardin County deputies responded to a vehicle hitting a tree in the 18000 block of Township Road 22 outside of Forest. 18-year-old Chase Clark was traveling west when his pickup truck drove off the south side of the road striking the tree. Clark was pronounced dead at the scene.

Hardin County Central Dispatch received a 9-1-1 call at 12:14 pm reporting a crash of a vehicle into a tree at 19689 TR 22, Forest.

Deputies discovered a pickup truck driven by 18 year old Chase Clark had been traveling west on Twp Rd. 22, when it left the south side of the roadway and crashed into a tree. Mr. Clark was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Deputies were assisted by the Jackson Forest Fire Department and Jackson Forest EMS, the Hardin County Coroner's Office, Forest Police Department, and Osborn Towing and Recovery Services.
