ALLEN COUNTY, OH (WLIO) - The Allen County Fairgrounds is gearing up to host their second annual bingo night this weekend at the Youth Activities Building.
The fundraising event gives those in attendance an opportunity to win gun and purse prizes on top of additional raffle prizes throughout the evening. But before festivities begin, upon arrival, guests will have time to enjoy a meal before getting into the fun and entertainment of the night.
All proceeds and profits made during the bingo night will be put back into improvement projects across the property to improve the structures of buildings across the fairgrounds.

"The event last year we profited over $25,000 in one evening, which is absolutely fantastic, and that's a big thanks to all the parties involved that made that happen as well as the general public that came in and bought tickets and supported us that night. But this year, we are going to take the feedback from last year. There were some things that didn't go like we wanted it to, so we implemented some changes this year to really enhance the experience overall for the folks that will be coming to the event this year," stated Troy Elwer, promotions and operations manager.
Elwer added that moving forward, the fair will look to have this event after the conclusion of the fair and at the start of the fall season. For further details on Bingo Night and other events, visit the events page at https://allencofair.com/events/.
