BLUFFTON, OH (WLIO) - Friends and family gathered on Saturday to celebrate a big birthday.
Betsy Steiner of Bluffton turned 100 years old on September 11th. She spent over 40 years working as a secretary for the Pandora-Gilboa school district, and in her free time, she volunteered anywhere she could, like her church, the Hilty Home, and in the schools. Steiner has two children, four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Her advice for others is to get enough sleep and don't forget the importance of your friends and family.

"In America, we are trying to get to know each other to become good neighbors because we have many things from our country to share with y'all, and I know you too; you got other things that you would like to share with us so that we can mix our cultures together," she said.
Betsy's favorite snack is Bugles, so the company General Mills sent her a care package full of treats and a letter to congratulate her on the big 100.
