LIMA, OH (WLIO) - A local care facility is asking for help from the community to provide for those less fortunate.
CareCore at Lima is located at 599 S Shawnee Street, Lima, OH 45804.
CareCore at Lima is holding a holiday food drive now through November 20, 2024. They are asking people to drop off non-perishable food items at their facility, which will be taken to the Lima Rescue Mission. They say it's their way of giving back to the community.
You can drop your donation just inside the front door at any time through November 20, 2024.
"We're looking to reach out to the Lima Mission. They do a lot of good work for our men around here and their families and things like that. Anything that comes into us will go back to them. It's coming into the cold weather where people are struggling, and we want to give back," said Tina Pinn, activities director for CareCore at Lima.
