Congressman Jim Jordan visited different manufacturing facilities in the district in honor of National Manufacturing Day.
Rep. Jordan spoke with workers at MetoKote and answered questions about why he believed that manufacturing jobs were important for the district.  Earlier in the year, Rep. Jordan was given the National Association of Manufacturers Award for Manufacturing Legislative Excellence.  The award was based on his votes on issues critical to manufacturing in the United States.
Representative Jordan says that manufacturing jobs in the district deserve to have attention brought to them.
"There are 435 congressional districts in the country and the district I have the privilege to represent is in the top 30 in manufacturing jobs and manufacturing output," said Rep. Jordan. Â "We have this great mix of good manufacturing facilities across our district."Â
Congressman Jordan also visited manufacturing sites in Sidney and Fremont.
