Agencies and businesses getting meals delivered Tuesday to help Lima native, Tom Cobb raise money for a lung transplant. Family and friends coming together to prepare and deliver the Bean Town chicken dinners. Cobb has been approved for the surgery, but is required to raise money for after care not covered by his medical coverage. Cobb's sister says he's getting anxious and is hopeful to get his life back to normal.
They will be having another chicken dinner fundraiser next Friday, September 15th where you can have lunch delivered to your work place. You can also just stop in at Bean City Chicken on the corner of Vine and Reese to get a meal too. It's only $10 for either 5 full wings or a 3 piece dinner with the fixings.
