Thanks to generous donations from the community, one local bakery was able to reopen it's doors to the public.
After being closed for nearly 4 months after falling on hard financial times, City Bakery in Wapakoneta reopened for business today. Denny Underwood said people are excited to see the over 100 year old location open to serve the community and says the bakery had to close earlier than expected today simply because they sold out of every single doughnut and pastry they had to offer just two hours after opening. Underwood also says customers can expect to see new renovations to the bakery in the coming weeks as well as a new line up of products such as cakes and sweet rolls.
