The City of Lima is looking for a few good men and women to protect their parks.
They are hiring for their Park Ranger positions. The Rangers are responsible for patrolling the city parks and reservoirs. There is some minor maintenance that they will do, and they also are encouraged to build relationship with people that come out and enjoy the parks.
Head Park Ranger Randy Kohli says, “We’re working at all the 14 parks. We’re working at the 5 reservoirs. We’re working very hard within the community to make this a proud community. We like to see things clean. We like to see people out enjoying and making it a recreational area for all.”
Anyone interested in becoming a park ranger can go to the City of Lima’s website and get an application. They are due by May 13th to the civil service board and the test will be given on May 21st.
