The City of Lima is once again in need of a few good men and women.
It was announced Wednesday that the Civil Service Board will be conducting a civil service test for the position of police officers. The test will be held on Saturday, July 21st and applications can be found online at the City of Lima's website, at the Civil Service Board Office and at the front desk of the City Building. The only requirements to apply are that you are 21 by the date of hire, and not over the age of 35, with a current drivers license and additional identification. This will be the second test in as many as a few years for the department.
Coon also announcing the hiring of two new employees. A new crime prevention aid and a new parking enforcement officer. Both positions are of critical support for the department and the parking enforcement is essential for downtown Lima.
They will release a date and time for a police test tutorial at a later date.
