KENTON, Ohio (WLIO) — A Hardin County man was arrested Thursday after a police chase ended in a crash at the Lima city limits.

Kaiser fled west into Allen County, and during the chase, he allegedly attempted to ram pursuing sheriff’s cruisers
Damon Kaiser of Roundhead is being held in the Multi-County Jail on numerous felony warrants, drug trafficking charges and a charge of failure to comply related to the chase.
According to the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office, the pursuit began at the intersection of County Road 50 and County Road 15 in Hardin County, when Kaiser failed to stop for deputies attempting to arrest him on outstanding warrants. Kaiser fled west into Allen County, and during the chase, he allegedly attempted to ram pursuing sheriff’s cruisers. Deputies successfully performed a PIT maneuver on Kaiser’s pickup truck on Reservoir Road, just before reaching the Lima city limits, causing the vehicle to crash.
Kaiser was taken to a hospital for treatment before being transported to jail. His passenger was interviewed and released. Deputies later searched Kaiser’s home and found additional drugs. More charges are pending.
