0458 hrs. – Deputies responded to an area of the Van Wert County Fairgrounds for a report of suspicious activity.
0926 hrs. – Deputies responded to an area of U.S. Route 224 in Harrison Township for an automated iPhone message of a possible crash. The incident was unfounded.
1000 hrs. – Deputies responded to an area of the Van Wert County Fairgrounds for a complaint of trespassing.
1006 hrs. – Deputies responded to an area of East Sycamore Street in the City of Van Wert for a report of a loose dog.
1116 hrs. – Deputies responded to an area of Bonnewitz Avenue in the City of Van Wert for a report of a loose dog.
1208 hrs. – Deputies responded to a residence on Main Street in the Village of Venedocia for a report of four ducks and one chicken that had been killed.
1253 hrs. – Deputies responded to a location on West Tully Street in the Village of Convoy for a complaint of criminal mischief.
1256 hrs. – Dispatched Van Wert EMS to a location on North Washington Street in the City of Van Wert for a report of a motor vehicle crash.
1319 hrs. – Deputies responded to a residence on Prospect Avenue in the City of Van Wert to a motorist locked out of their vehicle.
1431 hrs. – Deputies responded to a residence on Dull Robinson Road in Pleasant Township for two loose dogs that had killed some chickens on Zook Road.
1459 hrs. – Deputies responded to an area of Sidle Road in Pleasant Township for a report of two loose dogs.
1639 hrs. – Dispatched Middle Point EMS to a location on Ringwald Road in Ridge Township for a subject who had passed out and fallen.
1744 hrs. – Dispatched Van Wert EMS to the Van Wert County Fairgrounds for a subject having a diabetic emergency.
1901 hrs. – Deputies served a warrant issued by Van Wert County Common Pleas Court for Felony Charges of Possession of Heroin and Aggravated Possession of Drugs. Ashley Nichole McCarthy, age 42, of Van Wert, was transported to the Van Wert County Correctional Facility.
2138 hrs. – Dispatched Convoy EMS to a residence on Oak Street in the Village of Convoy for a subject with back pain.
2224 hrs. – Deputies responded to a residence on Flager Road in Liberty Township to check the welfare of a resident.

1036 hrs. – Deputies responded to an area of South Shannon Street in the City of Van Wert to assist the Van Wert Police.
1314 hrs. – Dispatched Delphos EMS to an area of U.S. Route 30 in Washington Township for a subject having a seizure.
1543 hrs. – Dispatched Convoy EMS to a residence on Harrison Willshire Road in Harrison Township for a subject who had fallen.
1558 hrs. – Deputies spoke with a resident from Course Road in Washington Township for a report of fraud.
1753 hrs. – Deputies responded to an area of U.S. Route 30 in Ridge Township for a report of reckless driving.
1837 hrs. – Deputies, along with Middle Point Fire and EMS, responded to an area of State Route 116 in Ridge Township for a report of a motor vehicle crash. Unit One, a 2014 Ford Escape driven by Clifford Beach of Marietta, Georgia, was traveling westbound on State Route 116, approaching the intersection of Mendon Road, and struck Unit Two. Unit Two, a 2019 Honda CRV driven by Kysen Hire of Van Wert, was driving northbound on Mendon Road. Unit Two had failed to yield at the stop sign at the intersection of Mendon Road and State Route 116. Unit Two occupants were treated at the scene by Middle Point EMS.
2239 hrs. – Deputies responded to an area of Bonnewitz Avenue in the City of Van Wert for a report of suspicious activity.
2333 hrs. – Deputies responded to a residence on North Race Street in the City of Van Wert to assist a motorist locked out of their vehicle.

1137 hrs. – Dispatched Convoy EMS to a residence on Glenmore Road in Willshire Township for a subject with stroke symptoms.
1201 hrs. – Deputies responded to a residence on West Jackson Street in the Village of Middle Point to assist a motorist locked out of their vehicle.
1445 hrs. – Deputies responded to a residence on Convoy Road in Tully Township to assist a motorist locked out of their vehicle.
