MERCER COUNTY, Ohio (WLIO) — A Troy man was arrested Sunday night after suspected drugs were discovered during a traffic stop in Mercer County.
Jesse Woods, 45, was pulled over by Mercer County deputies for a traffic violation near Clover Four Road and Dicke Road shortly after 10:30 p.m.
The Mercer County K-9 unit was called to assist with the traffic stop. The K-9 alerted deputies to the presence of drugs in the vehicle. A search revealed just under 12 grams of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Woods was arrested and charged with possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. He is currently being held without bail.
The case will be presented to the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office for review and potential additional charges.
