Today(11/22/19), students at St. Charles got a lesson in life, death, and everything in between.
Missionaries from the "Culture Project" came to St. Charles school to inspire and educate the youth. Topics like bullying, dehumanization, and love were discussed but they also had deeper conversations that they might not have gotten in a regular classroom setting.
"I think these messages are very important in just reminding kids today their identity," says Jesse Orenge, a missionary with the Culture Project. "It's not being the most popular, or looking a certain way, or living to some certain standard, but like that they're good just the way they are and just reminding them of that fact."
This presentation was part of a three-part series that helps reinforce the idea that there is more to life than what the youth might think.
