The Lima Rotary Club heard from staff of the Equestrian Therapy Program about the work that they are doing at Fassett Farm.
The Rotary Club learned more about how the program uses horses for therapy for disabled people in an 11 county area, as well as inviting local groups for team building activities.
Michelle Andrews-Sabol, the executive director for the program, says that the community has always played a big part in what they're able to accomplish.
"They have touched so many lives, in this session alone on our farm, they are touching 83 lives a week, that's how many riders we have this session," said Andrews-Sabol. "We still need help with volunteers and funding, but it's all really wonderful, this community is amazing."
