Shawnee Township Fire crews responded to a house fire earlier this evening.
It happened at 1012 Daniels.
When fire crews arrived, the found the house fully engulfed in smoke and flame.
A live electric wire was also arcing, preventing firefighters from setting up their hoses near there.
The exact cause of the fire is under investigation but Shawnee Township Fire Chief Todd Truesdale says they are focusing on the likelihood it started in the kitchen.
An occupant of the home, suffered some type of injury during the fire, according to Truesdale.
He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Investigators hope to question him to find out how the fire started.
