No one was hurt in a house fire this morning in Van Wert county.
It happened just before 6 this morning at a home at 5296 Waller road, just north of Convoy. When firefighters arrived, they found flames around a ceiling light in the living room.
Before they could knock down the flames, the fire spread through an attic area and eventually got out of control.
Convoy had help from fire departments in Van Wert, Scott, and Payne in Ohio and Monroeville and Woodburn from Indiana.
Investigators think an electrical problem sparked the blaze.
