46-year-old Phillip Briggs will serve four to six years in prison after he was found guilty in two separate cases of a felony charge of illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material or performance and a misdemeanor charge of voyeurism. Briggs will also have to register as a tier 2 sex offender for twenty-five years. Police say that two teenage girls told them that the defendant was allegedly recording them while they were undressing during five separate incidents that happened in May and June of 2021. Briggs addressed the court and said he had been honest during the entire process.

"From the day of my arrest, I was upfront and honest with the detectives. When I got in front of Doctor Delong, I was upfront and honest with him. I'm standing here in front of you, open and honest. I'll let you know that I am ashamed of my actions and sorry for my actions," said Phillip Briggs, defendant.

It was also ordered that Briggs have no contact or communication with the victims in the case.
