FINDLAY, OH (WLIO) - The city of Findlay held a "State of the City” address Wednesday afternoon.
Mayor Christina Muryn opened up the fireside chat to the Findlay community to answer questions submitted by residents ahead of the event. During the conversation, Mayor Muryn outlined key projects and initiatives on the horizon for the coming year while focusing on economic growth, community priorities, and updates of ongoing projects.
"Our goal tonight is to answer questions that residents have that may be a little different than we normally report out on. My goal is that throughout the year we're communicating to our residents so they know how the city is performing and things that we are working on. So, I figured that this was an opportunity to address some questions that we don't normally get to,” said Muryn.
On top of working on their capital plan and trail system, the city of Findlay has plans to announce their 23 new road projects to the public soon.
