LIMA, OHIO (WLIO) — The Allen County Treasurer is reminding residents that property taxes are due on February 14th.
Residents who have not yet received their bill are urged to contact the treasurer’s office.
Payments for the first half of real estate taxes can be made at the treasurer’s office, any Allen County branch of Superior Credit Union or Union Bank, or online. Payments can also be placed in the drop box outside the Allen County Courthouse.
For those mailing their payments, the envelope must be postmarked by February 14th. Residents who have not yet received their bill are urged to contact the treasurer’s office.

Krista Bohn, Allen County Treasurer, would like to remind Allen County property owners that Friday, February 14th is the due date for the 1st half Real Estate and Mobile Home tax payments.
Payments by Check or Cash may be made at:
- The Treasurer’s Office Monday – Friday from 8 – 4:30 on the 2 nd floor of the Allen County Courthouse
- Any of the Allen County branches of Superior Credit Union or Union Bank (must have tax bill stub)
- Mailed with a US Post Office postmark by February 14th, 2025
- CHECK or MONEY ORDER ONLY in an envelope, may be dropped in the Treasurers afterhours mail drop box located at the Front Main Entrance of the Courthouse at 301 N Main St by Friday 2/14 by midnight
Credit Cards & Echeck Payments are also accepted (for a small convenience fee, this fee is not charged by Allen County)

The online payment portal also includes a tax search function which shows property tax information, such as if a parcel has been paid, is still due, or if a lender is scheduled to pay. This information updates nightly. All payment options are listed on the back of the tax bills and on our website.
