KENTON, Ohio (WLIO) — The Hardin County Sheriff's Office has released updated information about the fatal crash that happened outside of Kenton on Thursday.
Dennis Covault, a seventy-two-year-old Harrod, Ohio resident was pronounced deceased at the scene. The occupant of the vehicle, Louise Covault, a seventy-year-old Harrod resident, was transported by life flight to Wexner Medical Center with life threatening injuries.
The at fault driver, Halie Hamlin Breeden, a twenty-eight-year-old Kenton resident was transported to Lima St Rita's Hospital by life flight with serious injuries.
This crash remains under investigation.

The Hardin County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal two-vehicle crash that occurred just west of Kenton.
The crash happened in the 12000 block of State Route 309 at 12:43 p.m. No details about the crash have been released. However, deputies say the male driver of one of the vehicles was pronounced dead at the scene. Â His female passenger had to be extracted from the vehicle and was flown to OSU Wexner Medical Center in Columbus.
The female driver of the other car was also extracted and was flown to Mercy Health – St. Rita’s. Names of those involved have not been released, pending notification of their families. The crash remains under investigation.
