Lima Chief of Staff Sharetta Smith introducing Kari Keener as the city's new human resource director. Keener is no stranger to the area as she is an Allen East graduate and has worked in human resources in the private sector. She is eager to get started in her new position.
"The most important role I see for H.R. is to be able to be a good liaison between management and between employees. Be able to make sure that we're always doing the best practices that we can so people can do their jobs well and so that we can provide for our families in the best way," commented Kari Keener, Lima Human Resource Director.
The city has been without a full-time human resource director since January when Vince Ozier resigned.
