LIMA, OHIO (WLIO) - Some hot chocolate and some cool crafts make for a fun morning at the Lima Public Library.

The Lima Public Library hosts many events throughout the year to promote not only learning and creativity but also help develop a lifelong love of reading.
The library hosted a crafting event Saturday morning to give kids the chance to make faces with stickers. The event promotes facial recognition skills for young children, and they also got the chance to enjoy some cocoa too. The Lima Public Library hosts many events throughout the year to promote not only learning and creativity but also help develop a lifelong love of reading.
“Sometimes with these programs, such as we have coming up, 'Stuffed Animal Sleep Over' and 'Baby Toddler Story Time', we have early literacy. That way we are aiming for the children to start developing skill sets; that way they can read and develop those reading skills over time if they continue to come to these programs,” says Becca Gunter, Children’s Librarian, Lima Public Library.
The Baby Toddler Storytime is January 7th at 10 a.m., and the Stuffed Animal Sleep Over is on January 9th, and you can go to their website and click on the events tab for more details.
