CRIDERSVILLE, OH (WLIO) - It was the first day of Christmas break for some local children, and the Cridersville Public Library invited kids and their families to join them for "Christmas Delights" to no-bake treats in the spirit of the holidays. They could put their masterpieces in a baggie to take home or eat the delicious goodies.

"Today is their first day of Christmas break, so I wanted the kids to have something to do. So we came up with the idea of "Christmas Delight" for the kids. It was no-bake donut snowmen, reindeer Swiss cake rolls, and candy canes. Just a lot of fun," said Linda Steinke, supervisor of the Cridersville Public Library.

The Cridersville Public Library, located at 116 W Main St, Cridersville, OH 45806, also has a "New Year Celebration" event planned with snacks, music, and crafts on January 2, 2025, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
