LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — Lima Convalescent Home residents enjoyed an evening of fun and games.
Hosted by Team Outreach Lima and UAW 20-75, the nursing home came together for friendly bingo competition and prizes. Later Thursday night, DJ Pandemic played music, giving residents a chance to dance. Team Outreach Lima says its mission is to bring some light to the community, especially to seniors.
"We party, we have fun. We get them up dancing. You know, the residents, they sit around a lot, and it's a time for them to interact with the community and get them up, moving their limbs and getting them dancing," said Quincy Peoples, director of Team Outreach Lima.
