LIMA, OH (WLIO) - The Lima Fire Department extinguished a house fire Monday afternoon.
Just before 4 p.m., a home on the corner of Edwards and McCullough caught fire.
Just before 4 p.m., a home on the corner of Edwards and McCullough caught fire. The blaze started near the center of the house and was contained before it could spread much. The Lima Fire Department estimates $10,000 in damage, mostly caused by smoke. All residents evacuated safely before first responders arrived, and no firefighters were injured. The cause is still under investigation, but it appears to be accidental.
