Lima Juneteenth celebration to be held at Greater Lima Region Park and Amphitheatre

LIMA, OH (WLIO) - Lima's Juneteenth celebration returns this summer with more to do and a new location. 

The Juneteenth festivities will be held on June 15th from noon to 6 p.m. at the Greater Lima Region Park and Amphitheater. Families can look forward to food trucks, live music, inflatables, and shopping at small business pop-ups with over 50 vendors. Organizers say there is plenty of fun to be had for people of all ages, and it's a great opportunity to appreciate local culture. 

"It's about the community, it's about unity, and just really fellowshipping with people that come from all walks of life, and really getting to know more people, and seeing the vendors. All the different small businesses that you may even know that exist in town," explained Marc Wright, chair of the Juneteenth Lima Committee.
