You can still make a donation to the Toys for Tots program on Friday and Saturday of this week as boxes are starting to be picked up this weekend.
"Meijer's culture is being involved with the community that you're a part of. So we live and breathe the community as a company, but in this store specifically, Tots for Tots has always been a very important thing to do. The team loves it. They're very engaged with their team to help as many children as possible," said Steve Cope, store director of Lima Meijer.
"We could not do what we do without partners like Meijer. It's just that you can see the toys behind us; they really help us out. Help us fill those boxes and all the bags and people we're trying to serve," stated Paul Downing, Lima/Allen County Toys for Tots area coordinator.
