Lima Memorial Health System will be holding a free event for the public this weekend.
This Sunday afternoon from 1 to 3 p.m., Lima Memorial is hosting their Health and Wellness Fair at their newly renovated Welcome Center. There will be screenings, educational resources, services such as blood pressure checks, radiology, and more. Refreshments will also be provided. Even if you think you're healthy, all services at the event will come at no cost, so it's worth it to get screened for potential conditions.
"It's always important that people know their numbers from a screening standpoint. So this gives us the opportunity then to come out here just to see what your numbers are and if you're feeling fine and your numbers come out great, you don't have to do anything. If not, you can decide whether you want to take care of your health, make a change, or do something as it relates to getting better," said Mike Swick, president and CEO of Lima Memorial Health System.
The Health and Wellness Fair will also have drawings, giveaways, and a holiday gift shop.
