Lima Memorial Health System will be providing gifts to area seniors this holiday season.
Lima Memorial and the Area Agency on Aging host an annual Senior Angel Tree, where the hospital can "adopt" seniors to provide them with gifts for the holidays.
The seniors that were chosen are ones that live on limited means and are often without family support.
"Lima Memorial Health System takes great pride at providing great care both inside our hospital walls and outside in our community as well," said Jessica Eutsler, Volunteer Services Coordinator. "Our seniors are very important in our community and we are excited to be able to provide them with essentials that they asked for, but also some surprises in their bags to help them enjoy their Christmas."
On Tuesday, the hospital loaded gifts onto multiple vans that will deliver each present to area seniors.
