Area kids will have a place to go this summer during their break from school.
The Lima Summer Parks Program is sponsoring their annual playground program. Kids ages 6 to 12 will have an opportunity to enjoy three area parks: Faurot, Lincoln, and Robb. They will receive free lunches, visit Schoonover Pool on Fridays, go on field trips, and participate in several activities. Officials say they still have openings for kids at the Lincoln Park Camp.
Parents may visit the Lima Recreations and Parks building on Collett Street for an application. The cost of enrollment for Lima residents is $30 dollars and $35 for non-Lima residents.
