Shawnee Scout creates permanent tribute to Lima's sister city relationship with Japan
Visitors to Lima's Japanese Garden can now learn more about the city's decades-long relationship with its sister city, Harima-Cho, Japan, thanks to the efforts of a local Eagle Scout.

A new historical marker in Lima's Japanese Garden tells the story of the city's sister city relationship with Harima-Cho, Japan, thanks to an Eagle Scout project completed by Evan McKenzie of Shawnee Troop 106. The marker provides visitors with information about the garden, the Sister City Association and the long-standing international partnership between the two communities.
