As many are deciding what to wear for Halloween, the Lima Police Department wants to remind everyone of their annual trick-or-treat photo contest.
This will be the third year for the event and it's expanding. There will be four locations families can stop and have their picture taken with one of the COP officers. Chief Kevin Martin will also be traveling around the city, stopping and getting in on the photos as well.
"After we get all those photos we're gonna put them all together and we're going to rank them and we're going to pick the top ten. We're gonna put the top ten on our social media channels and allow the City of Lima to vote on those," explained Lt. Andy Green, Lima Police Department.
You can find the photo-taking locations on the Lima Police Department's Facebook page. The top three winners will attend the mayor's briefing, with the big winner having lunch with the mayor and police chief.
