Some Lima City Schools students are looking to the stars as they come together for a common interest.
Lima South Science and Technology Magnet School's Astronomy Club is first of its kind at the school and the students are excited. They are currently working on a model solar system and learning to work on projects together. The students meet for 45 minutes after school once a week and it was the idea of 5th grade student, Gavin Capuchino.
The club members hope to have their solar systems displayed at the school's Science Night in the spring.
