A shouting match between two Lima roommates led to one behind bars and the other recovering from stab wounds.
Detectives were called out to 765 Greenlawn Avenue just after 11 p.m. Sunday night for a domestic violence report. Police say a verbal fight between 21-year-old Shaquille Brown and 27-year-old Jasmine Clapper turned physical. That's when Clapper allegedly grabbed a knife and stabbed Brown several times in the arm and upper back. Police say the wounds are not life-threatening.
Clapper is being held on suspicion of felonious assault.

On Sunday, May 19, 2019 at approximately 11:08pm, officers from the Lima Police Department responded to 765 ½ Greenlawn Ave in reference to an incident of domestic violence. Upon arrival, officers spoke with Shaquille Brown (21 years old of Lima Ohio). Shaquille and Jasmine Clapper (27 years old of Lima Ohio) reside together at the listed residence and became involved in a verbal altercation. The altercation turned physical and Jasmine obtained a knife. Jasmine stabbed Shaquille several times in the arm and upper back, the wounds were nonlife threatening. Jasmine was taken into custody and charged with Suspicion of Felonious Assault.
