Students at Lincolnview Local Schools celebrated Veteran's Day the Lancer way.
The school put on a Veterans Day celebration program. Students invited their veterans to attend patriotic presentations and speakers with each veteran being individually recognized with their family. Each year the number of veterans to attend the program goes up, but this year the school teamed up with the AMVETS to collect goods to donate to the Veterans Food Pantry in Lima. For a first effort, the students surpassed expectations and donated around 1,500 items to the Veterans Food Pantry.
