A man who pleaded guilty to attempted aggravated arson gets sentenced to two years in prison.
20-year-old Jonathon Brown was sentenced Monday in Allen County Common Pleas Court. Brown was arrested after he set a bed on fire while a woman, he was in a relationship with, was sleeping in it. He was originally indicted on aggravated arson but pleaded guilty to a reduced charge. Even though he was found competent to stand trial for this case, Brown does have a history of mental illness. Judge Jeffrey Reed ordered that he undergo treatment for that while he is in prison.
