Failing brakes are the possible cause of why a car ran into the side of a business in Shawnee Township Thursday afternoon.
The crash happened around 3:30 p.m. at the Shawnee Fuel Stop on Breese Road. The driver and passenger were not hurt. However, the collision did cause some damage to the building. No one inside the business was injured either, but the owner was forced to shut off gas pumps and close while the damage was cleaned up.
