The 6th annual Paint Program will begin again in May.
The program, which is organized by 6th Ward Lima Councilman Derry Glenn, aims to help the elderly and low income families meet code regulations and keep the neighborhoods looking fresh. But this year, Glenn says he is hoping to take a different approach to the program.
"And this year's going to be a little bit different. I'm going to have kids work with me on this special project so kids can learn how to paint. I had one kid working with me, 15 year old, he did an excellent job and teaching responsibility at the same time, so that's what we're trying to do," said Glenn.
