October 10, 2023 Press Release from Lima City Schools: Lima Senior High School’s Youth and Government is partnering with the Panda Express to raise money for the program and students’ trip to the Ohio Statehouse.
Supporters are asked to eat at Panda Express, 3200 Elida Road, from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11. If customers say they are there to support Lima Senior’s Youth and Government the business will donate 20 percent of the sales to the group.
Customers are also urged to order from PandaExpress.com or the Panda Express app and use the code: 359078.
Youth and Government is a club at the high school that provides interactive learning experiences for students to learn about how government works, including the legislative process. The students learn the importance of being active citizens in a democratic society.
The money raised from this event will be used to help students pay for their fieldtrip to the Ohio Statehouse in Columbus
